Yesterday marked 12 extremely long years without my One and Only Big Sister... Although I miss her more than words could ever begin to describe, I have learned to live in the amazing memories I have of her and her life, instead of putting so much focus on her death and the hole it left in my heart! Lisa's love, strength, knowledge, courage, tenacity, and determination continue to inspire and motivate me! There is not a day that goes by without her being my first and last thought! Mom and I continue to share our memories and her spirit with Alexus, Morgan, Jaden, and Garrett! It is as though I see and feel her living in Lexi and it is the most beautiful and amazing thing I have ever seen or witnessed! Lisa will always be my hero! I feel her unconditional love in my moments of loneliness and weakness... We will never forget you, Lisa Dyan Malone DeGarmo! My Sister, my 2nd Momma, my Best Friend, my Hero...
