Lonnie was my uncle.  I didn't get to see him very much, but when I did, he always had a great big smile and an even bigger hug ready for me.  My greatest memory of Lonnie includes praying over the phone with him and Carole.  They were so sweet to call me every once in a while to check in with me.  From what I remember, we would usually pray together over the phone before we hung up... and that was a huge encouragement for me and blessed me tremendously.   I am so thankful that God chose Lonnie to be my uncle, and Carole to be my aunt!  He truly was a blessing to me!!!  The greatest act man can do is to confess/repent of their sins, and turn to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.  Jesus Christ said in John 14:21, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.   No one comes to the Father except through Me."  Salvation comes from Christ alone.  

Tobe or Toby as we always called him growing up was my God father. I haven't seen him in a while but he was always in my heart. I could not have asked for a better man to be my God father because he truly was a man of God. Whenever I think about marriage and what I would want from a husband I always think of him and Carole. He was a devoted husband and loving Father to Delana and Joni. I will always remember his smile and laughter. On behalf of Johnathan and myself we are terribly sorry for your loss and hope you find peace knowing there is another Angel in Heaven. Toby may you rest in peace and watch over us all until we meet again. I love you.
