Louie Flood Herndon, has been a lifetime follower of Christ and has now gone to be with the Lord. Mr. Herndon was blessed to have celebrated over 61 years of marriage with his loving wife, Virginia. He was truly a spectacular father to his five children, Diane (Dale), Donnie (Terri), Dale (Bonnie), Darrell (Kimi) and Denise (Tim); a Wonderful Grandfather to nine grandchildren, Angela, Ashley, Luke, Jake, Madison, Olivia, Kacey, Tiffany and Justin; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Danielle and Kenley; and he leaves behind two brothers, Thomas and Horace Lee Herndon. Mr. Herndon retired after 29 years as supervisor for the Mid Atlantic Coca Cola Company. He retained his membership at Smyrna Baptist Church, but attended Goodwill Baptist for the past 18 years.
