From Lynne Gallaher:
The Nystrom family sends our love to you and your family with the passing of your dear mother. It's really hard to believe for me because she was such a big part of my growing up years and always a kind and giving person to us.... see more at "stories"

From Paul Bergeron: My prayers go out to you and your family. I had a wonderful talk with her about a month ago when she called me because my Dad (Wally) had just passed. She sounded so happy being in her new home. She was a special lady and along with your Dad and the rest of your family meant a lot to the Bergeron family.

Joy, your mother was such a kind and caring person and I always appreciated her smile. She always made me feel comfortable when I was at your home. God bless you during this time of loss.

Louise was always a joy to talk to, a very good attitude. Family reunions are not going to be the same without her. She is missed, look forward to seeing her again. Our condolences to all the cousins and family, our prayers are with you at this time of your loss.

Louise sat at a table adjacent to ours in the dining room at Olympics West. Each meal she glanced around a building column to give me a greeting smile and word, then she said her personal grace at each meal. Both acts required courage and I shall not forget her. George

Louise and Wayne became my surrogate parents in the early eighties.. They were among the dearest people on earth and will be sorely missed. There was a never-to-be-forgotten Christmas in 1982 in Roslyn and many other visits which were always food for the soul .Louise was always humming a tune as she moved about her kitchen. Her gentle spirit dwells with all who knew her. Grant Mishler . ,

When I think of Mrs. Wallace, I think of “sunshine”. Her beauty and smile radiated the room. I remember in the summertime walking down the pathway to the house on Finn Hill and seeing her out on a sunny day sitting under the shade of a tree at peace in the “sunshine”. She is a lady that I truly respect and the memory of her will forever bless my life.

Some of my fondest memories with Granny were during our "kid's nights," where Granny, Carly, Erika and I would make and eat dinner together and then play games like marbles and Mexican train dominoes. I love to remember Granny's puzzled face as she wisely chose her next move. I love you Granny.

Louise was always smiling and had a little sparkle in her eye. She was always a joy to be around. The Lord and his love shone through her. Our love and prayers to Joy and the whole family. Steve & Peggy
