When I first came to teach in Heard County, Miss Lucille was one of the first people I met and came to befriend. She and her husband were down to earth people who could always find the good in anything. I enjoyed shopping in their store. It was a pleasure working with her over the many years before her retirement. The children of Heard County are better for her dedicated love of teaching. I know that she will be missed by all close to her. My thoughts are with her family.

Mr. Thomas and family, I am the former Debbie Hill, Truitt and Onnie Davis's granddaughter. I remember Mrs. Lucille because she taught me math for so many years. I wish to extend my condolences on your loss. There are no words anyone can say that will make your loss seem easier. Just remember one day we will go home to our loved ones who have gone on before us. What a wonderful day that will be.

What a wonderful, giving and spirit filled lady Miss Lucille was on earth! she is now walking on streets of gold with her precious Jesus and many loving friends and family that have gone on before her. She was certainly welcomed today by my dad John Oswald and my grandmother Cynthia who loved her so. God be with the Lipford family.
