A truly wonderful lady and a loving mother to Jesse and Annie. We have lost a beautiful person and my thoughts are with Joe, Jesse and Annie at this time, may you remember the wonderful times and treasure her memory. Rest in peace Lucy, you will be missed but remembered so fondly. With love xxx

We were fortunate enough to have Lucy on our team at a few quiz nights, still not sure why we didn't win.  Of course it was the taking part that mattered and the laughs, oh did we laugh, we weren't very good but we had the best of times and we're very sad that Lucy won't be on our team any more but a place will be saved for her!

What I remember more than anything is how selfless Lucy was. I've had a few health problems lately and Lucy, although she was going through her own treatment, messaged me to ask what she could do to help. I felt ashamed, bucked my ideas up and took more control of my illness and am much better than I was. 

I wish Lucy knew what a difference she made to not only me but many, many people, who all loved her.

Lucy we will miss you but won't stop thinking about you. xx

Angels never die

I found out today from church that Lucy passed away. Lucy was a good friend from church n was so full of life with a infectious laughter. She was a beautiful loving person. She will be missed. May God console her two children n be with her family.

May u rest in peace in the heavens above with the Angels n May Jesus be with those u have left behind.

I have known Lucy since the 1970's and after a long lapse spanning a little over 3 decades reconnected with her via Whatsapp for a few months before she passed.She is a smart affectionate ant outright down to earth with a perfect sense of humor.Little did I know that this was gonna happen but in all things let's give thanks to God

Dear Lucy its been soo many years that we talked, however the memories that remains with me is our Motown days. The juniors attest to the fact that you were one of the kindest seniors. I followed you post on FB and from that I know you still had the faith burning. Gods ways are not our ways and something's will always remain a mystery. One thing that I know that God has always won the battle for us.

Philippians 3:20-21 but our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things unto himself.
