Today is Resurrection Sunday! Christ has defeated death and the grave! The stone has been rolled away, Christ emerged victorious! And because of that, we have the blessed assurance of eternal life with Him in heaven! We also have the assurance that is where you are, Sweet Girl, and one day we will be reunited in heaven. Miss you so much, speak your name often and share sweet memories. Until that day when we are called home to Jesus, always loving and missing you! Patty

Merry Christmas in heaven, sweet girl. It’s hard, thinking of how much fun you would be on these special days…but also amazing to know that you’re singing with the same angels who foretold our Savior’s birth and who sang in the heavens on the night of His birth! You are missed, dear one, but because of His birth, death and resurrection, we have certain assurance and hope that we, too, will be reunited and singing with those angels! Love and miss you. Patty

Sweet girl…..”It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth”. And, oh, how we miss you!  To shop with, wrap presents, go to a Christmas party and visit friends and family. You know, you’re an aunt now! How excited you would be…..and you’d be a wonderful aunt to your dear nephew, Rowan. But you know all about him…did you see him when he was still in heaven, before he came down to earth? And you would also be a great sister-in-law! You are loved and missed beyond measure! Keep watch over Rowan, will you? Love you…Patty

Today is Easter...While Your Family may be sharing a meal together and having Family Time...Sure they wish You were here with them!  Hopefully their memories You shared and knowing that You are in the loving arms of God, bring them comfort...<3

Sweet girl. We dress up. We gather at the church. We sing the resurrection songs. We remember Christ has risen! He has risen indeed! We gather at home as we gather the eggs. We get the baskets and treats. We do what we do every year....we miss you. You are still such a part of our lives. And always will be. We love you and miss you so much. As we hear the resurrection story, we remember that you are a part of that story because you love Jesus. And because He lives, you also live. That is our promise, our hope. Miss you, sweet girl. Can’t wait to see you again.

Sweet girl......another Christmas in heaven. I wonder....how do you celebrate in heaven? It is so hard to celebrate without you. But we will.....because even though we are sad without you, He is the promise of our hope. To one day be with you in heaven, celebrating. Words don’t come easily for me.....but God knows what’s in my heart. And that is love.

Everyday I run from the pain of not having you here and watching you grow.  Today is your 11th birthday and I dream of my special girl that I miss soooo much wishing the dream was true. On your birthday, like everyday, I miss You.
I miss you every day, every night, every minute.
Missing you makes me run from the pain, the tears, and the sadness of living without your smile, your joy, and your heart for giving.
I run from this new life without you and being able to watch grow, living separate from you!
I run til a fall down from being so tired that some days I stay down and some days I get up and run harder.
Where does my strength to continue come from?  My strength is from my faith in Jesus. My hope is that I will see you again soon and the pain, the tears and sadness will be gone.

Sweet girl....it's Christmas Eve and I'm watching the story of Jesus' birthday on t.v. What a wonderful time that must have been! And I think of you at the same time....in heaven with Jesus! What a wonderful time it must be! You are missed so much....the words get stuck in my throat. My memories of you at Christmas time.....any time....are so sweet. But yet the questions remain.....why were you taken, especially so young? But these are the mysteries that cannot be answered until we reach heaven....and then we will be filled with so much joy and awe, will it really matter? But what matters now, tonight, is that you feel in our hearts the love that overflows. Be with your mommy, daddy and Zack tonite, because I'm sure it will be especially hard for them because they miss you so. Put your arms around them and just swallow them up with love! Love you and miss you, sweet girl!
