Hey everyone,
I was lucky enough to have Mr. Lydon as my teacher twice. Once in the third grade and again in the fifth at Flournoy Elementary in Watts, he was much more than a teacher I viewed him as a father figure. Not just to me but to our entire class. I wish I could remember every moment we shared together but sadly there’s only a handful that stick out to me. He was kind, funny, giving, and so much more. He’s crossed my mind twice in the past 3-4 days and so I decided to look him up. I’m extremely saddened to hear that he’s passed, and at the same time the videos and photos that you guys have shared here on this site makes me so proud to know that what I’ve always thought of him was true! I’ll always remember him, he was literally the best teacher EVER!! Long Live Storm Lydon! My deepest condolences to all who were near and dear to him, especially his family
