Lyndi Beth Hefferman VanHorn Rodibaugh, 45, of 78 Willow St, Oil City, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on June 9, 2012 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born December 8, 1966, in Oil City, Lyndi was the daughter of James and Helen Henderson Boyles Hefferman. She was a 1985 graduate of Cranberry High School. She was an avid outdoors woman. Lyndi loved nature, camping, dancing, cooking, crocheting, swimming, and playing pool. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She especially loved spending time with the twin grandsons, “Jellybean” and “Hambone”.

Lyndi was married to Bob Rodibaugh on April 13, 2012. He survives and resides in Cranberry, PA, Venango County.

In addition to her husband, Lyndi is survived by her mother, Helen Henderson, Hefferman,Boyles; her two sons, Tony James VanHorn of Oil City, and his fiancee’, Keri Maxwell, and Benjamin Griffin of Franklin; and her twin grandsons, Braxson and Bryson VanHorn of Oil City.

She is additionally survived by her sister, Sally Moses, and her husband, Mike, of Cochranton; her two brothers, Donald Hefferman of Grove City and Gordon Hefferman and his wife, Mary Jane, of Oil City.

Lyndi is also survived by her aunt, Edith Dean and her husband, Frank, of Jupiter, Florida; her uncle, Bernard Henderson and his wife, Akiko, of Maryland; 5 nieces; 7 nephews; and several great-nieces, great-nephews; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Hefferman; her sister, Ila Jean; her brother, Fred Hefferman; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life for Lyndi Beth Hefferman VanHorn Rodibaugh will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family. The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
