Though her smile is gone
forever and her hand
I cannot touch,
I still have so many
memories of the one
I loved so much.
Her memory is my
keepsake with which
I'll never part, God has

Hi Nanny

I have drawn up plans for a rocket. I have shown Mum, and I just need help to build it, so that I can come and see you, cause I really miss you Nanny. I say a pray for you every night so God can look after you.

Mum, I've been missing you so much of lately, I have been going down into my garden and go over the little bridge into your garden that i have made in memory of you. I sit down in there and think of you and have a good cry. Just wishing I could talk to you and see you.  I know you are around me as i can feel you there. And your butterfly is always close by. Jack and I sat outside tonight looking up at the full moon talking to you. Jack said that Nanny was very busy up in the moon and stars, and he said "I miss you Nanny and blew you a kiss. I miss you, we all miss you so much Mum. Alays in our hearts and thoughts. Mum's Birthday 06 10 2009

Just the other night Mummy told me to go to bed, I didn't want too.

I laid in bed thinking of you Nan, I opened my curtains looked up into the sky

where the moon was, I yelled out to you "Nan" "Nan" mum came rushing in

and said what are you doing, I said I was yelling out to Nan, because she will not

make me go to bed, thanks for hearing me Nan. Mum let me stay up for another

30 minutes, how could she resist.

The other day while standing at the kitchen sink cooking tea, I saw a fantail just outside the window sitting in the tree staring back at me. I didn't think anything of it until I went outside to the deck and I noticed that it had flown around to where I was.  It just made me think that it was mum looking over me.  Now I often see it sitting in the same tree by the kitchen window looking in at me, I say to myself thats mum reminding me she is here with us.

I was in the garden thinking of Mum and how much i missed her when a butterfly flew onto a pot plant near me. It was beautiful, i have never seen one like it before, I ran upstairs to get my camera hoping that the butterfly would still be there when i came back down. Sure enough it was. Took a couple of photos and then watched it fly over to the garden i have made dedicated to Mum. Thats when I knew it was a sign from Mum letting me know that she is always around us.
