His Life
May 27, 2012

My father was unlike any man I've ever known. He stayed to himself all the time.
He never bothered anyone,he never talked about strangers, he wasn't a judgemental person that I knew of and I've known him all my life.
My dad was a veteran for his country also. He never fought in any wars, but he did what he felt he had to do when he was young.
My dad raised four girls and one boy of his own children, and helped raise two others of my aunts children as well.
I can remember when I was little, I always wanted to go fishing with daddy. He use to wake me and Kim (sister) up to go fishing early in the morning before it was even daylight. He use to say the early bird gets the worm, but in our case it was the early fish gets the worm. I use to have so much fun with daddy when I was a child.
As I got older I was so spoiled, I took a lot of things for granted including my dad. There is a lot of things I wish I could change about our relationship, but the best part of it all, is daddy forgave me before he left this world to go live with Jesus. That is better than anything else I can ever reminisce on.
