Mama! Rt! Spent the day by you yesterday on your birthday, freshened up the grave site. Also went to check your daughter Tebogo close by and happy spent the day well, freshly inspired. Your last two youngest grand children are growing and doing well at school. By the way, just turned sixty and dedicated it to you…wish you’d been there in person but you were there in spirit and so were your other grand children and lotsa their cousins from far and wide. Friends and your brother Oupa’s wife, Auntie Botlhale also paid a special tribute to you on the occasion of my birthday. So did Flossie. Lotsa love always and you will forever remain in our hearts. Bessie was talking about you and remembering your birthday. She sadly lost her husband Uncle Frank.

Mama…hearty happy birthday this’d be your 81st. You still had lots to give and guide, gone too soon. You’ve the grandchildren asking after you and wishing to meet you, but they know of you so so much and your pictures and some of what you had to do and legacy you left. Your birthday weekend ‘was a splendid one snd filled with Clivias Tshidiso brought from his new  and I threw in some proteas. Lots of love and we will always remember you…regards from Ofentse and younger grandchildren Omphemetse and Tsepe Jnr but also the elder ones Thando and Phethagatso. By the way Thando was awe-inspired to learn you’re a John’s Hopkins Fellow! He’s found his grounding in teaching Mathematics and Science, but also performing the arts…poetry in particular. Mama today is eleven years since you left us...how I vividly remember that day and I was miles away in Cale Town, not to have been there to shut your eyes as you held your last breath. Still reeling but we holding out...your grandchildren are growing by leaps and bounds and progressing well at school and universities. You’ve now got a new addition to them, Thato’s new born baby son. Otherwise we all alright, and this would have been your eightieth birthday year. We remain committed to the values you left us with and shall forever uphold them. Continue to Rest In Peace ✌️ and we shall bow by your last resting place this weekend. ❤️

Mama...tonight marks six years since you left us! For some fortuitous reason I am at the same place when I heard of your passing in my absence, Cape Town. I will return end of the week and come see you over the weekend. I also wish to let you know you have an addition to your family...youngest grandson Tsepe Motumi Jnr. He's got some of your traits young as he is. Rest in peace and forever missed! Lots of love!
