My heartfelt condolences go out to the Chiu family. It is sad to see someone pass with so much life left to be lived. Man was the sort of person who was a blessing to be around. He was a kind and giving soul. I will miss his correspondence and contagious happiness. May your family find consolation in how well respected, appreciated, and loved you were.

Man, there was not a single i did not see you smile. You were truly a very genuine person. I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with you. You will be dearly missed by your work Family!

It was always a pleasure to work with Man in the lab, during those BNR/Nortel years. A great engineer and a great human being. In more recent years, it was nice to catch up with him and chat during ex-Nortel employees lunches. Rest in Peace, Man.

I will miss Man - he was always concerned about others - he would never fail to ask about me and my family. I know this leaves a huge hole in your lives, and we are praying that God holds you close in the palm of His hand.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the entire Chiu family and think they are amazing. Man was always kind and excited to talk to everyone he met. Love you guys and will be praying for you a lot!

I didn't know Man very well, but I do know his son Andrew. Man must have been a good father, because his son is an exceptional man. Andrew's friends and I grieve with the family at this difficult, unexpected, and unasked-for time. Praying that the peace of God which defies human understanding will reign in the hears of Laura, Andrew, and Michael, as well as the extended family.

So sorry to hear about your loss, Chiu family. You have a special family and Man was a vibrant, active, and loving part of it from what I could see. God is with you, even now.

Andrew, how heartbroken you must be. Know that Debbie, Jack and I are lifting up you and your family before the Lord.

Man ... you've gone too soon. You're profoundly missed by all of the Liem family. I treasured our eternal friendship of 36 years across 3 different countries and 2 continents. Till we meet again in heaven ...

Man's persona exuded warmth and a sense of calm and peace with everything and everyone around him. Although I did not work directly with him at Nortel/BNR, but I knew of him from others who had, as an extremely bright engineer and a very helpful person.
People like him are rare..

We always loved to see Man’s smile and enjoyed his gentle accepting nature.  The day he treated us to a wonderful Christmas dinner during a difficult holiday season is an evidence of his unselfish, generous nature.  Michael and Andrew, Laura and Man’s two sons are even greater evidence of Man’s character. No greater honor could be afforded any man than to have such sons.

To Laura, Andrew, and Michael: (and Katy) May God help you to feel the comfort of His presence in your grief.

I'm so thankful that I got to work with Man during the BNR/Nortel days. Those memories will last forever and not only that but he and his beautiful wife, Laura were my neighbors. I looked forward to seeing them walking hand in hand every morning! Rest in paradise Man! Daisy
