Margaret (Holcomb) Clark, 67, of North Haven passed away peacefully April 12, 2019 at her home surrounded by her husband, Albert, and her 3 children. Margaret (Peg) was born in New Haven on June 6, 1951, the daughter of the late Ernest Holcomb and Alicia (O’Connell) Holcomb.
She enjoyed traveling all over and especially camping with her family. She was definitely a dyed in the wool Red Sox fan and had many close friends, not the least of which were Richard and Ellen Grabowiecki of Wallingford who supported her to the end. Peg fought a hard battle for many years against several serious medical conditions but never lost her sense of humor or joy at having friends and family come visit. She was previously employed by Insurance Programmers of Wallingford, On Broadway in North Haven and the owner of Pegs Country Kitchen in North Haven.
Besides her husband Albert Clark of North Haven, she leaves behind her son Jeffery Clark (Jenny) of Cheshire, daughters Jennifer Clark (Glenn) of North Haven and Jamie Ljunggren (Rob) of Cheshire, brother Robert Holcomb of Bellows Falls, VT, and sister Linda DeAntonio (Holcomb) of North Haven. She also leaves 11 grandchildren who she loved dearly: Taylor, Erica, Kyle, Jaccob, Breanna, Hannah, Connor, Kaylee, Katrina, Evan, and Viktoria.
She was predeceased by brothers Ernest Holcomb, Edward Holcomb, James Holcomb and sister Jean Brown.
She is going to be missed by her many friends and family. A celebration of her life is going to be held at Wallingford Rod and Gun Club from 6pm to 9pm on April 24th. The address for the Wallingford Rod and Gun Club is 411 N Branford Rd, Wallingford, CT.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
