Margarito Perez Jr.
April 4, 1969 – November 18, 2015
Resident of San Jose

Margarito Perez Jr. passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46.  This is a loss thatwill be deeply felt by his treasured family, friends and coworkers.

Margarito was born in Del Rio, TX and raised in Greenfield, CA.  He graduated from King City High School, where he distinguished himself by his artistic ability, and by finding his true love, April Artea.  Margarito and his wife, April moved to the Bay Area in 1987 where they started their family, and found meaningful work in the Silicon Valley.

Margarito specialized in logistics, and his career spanned several companies, including Monolithic Memories/AMD, Auspex Systems, Alacritech, and mostrecently, Yamato Scientific. Those who knew Margarito can vouch for his warm personality. Not surprisingly, he excelled at customer service and client relationships. He was a great listener, put people at ease, and was always willing to share his knowledge.

Above all, Margarito was devoted to his family.  It was everything to him.  He shared an unusual closeness to his children who were born seven years apart.  While he loved all people, it was no secret that he especially loved children. – his own, and others too.  He was a steadfast and active presence in the lives of Kristopher, Philip and Gabby.  He found ways to be connected to them, through coaching, movies, and by “being there”.  He was overjoyed to welcome his first grandchild to the world just weeks before his passing.

Margarito was welcoming and non-judgmental – a kind and gentle spirit.  He was sentimental, but he also had a keen sense of humor.  The house was always full of laughter and his love of music.  Margarito enjoyed lending a helping hand, and was generous with his graphic design expertise.

As a morning person, Margarito loved to sing or share his eclectic genres of music with anyone. The brightness he brought to each day was infectious, and will continue to shine through those he loved.

Margarito is survived by his wife April, his children Kristopher (Laura), Philip, and
Gabrielle; his parents Margarito and Esperanza Perez, his sister Maribel, brother
David, and granddaughter Zoey.
