Mi tia Nela fue para mi familia una persona muy importante en nuestras vidas. Sobre todo en la vida de mi mama su sobrina Irma Macias, y mis hermanos y yo tenemos los mas gratos recuerdos de ella. Su increible humor nos hacia ver la vida diferente. Tuve la fortuna de vivir un tiempo en Canada y convivir con ella y mi tia Irma antes de sus partidas. Seran de mis mejores recuerdos en mi vida

I remember Marianela as a beautiful woman, always kind to Gina and friends, gentle in the way she spoke and graceful in the way she carried herself. She seemed to be a calm and loving presence at Gina’s house. Even though there was a language barrier, Gina’s grandmother always greeted me with a warm smile which made me feel at ease. That is how I will remember her - with a smile.

A selfless beautiful woman to whom family was everything. She was a fun loving caring woman who laughed easy and made others laugh as well. A loving grandmother and mother, she will be deeply missed, but always loved.
