Marianne was a great friend. I will always remember cookies and coffee in her kitchen. I am sure that she is watching over her family from heaven.

Marianne was a lovely lady with a big smile and full of laughs. Our family was brought together by our children's marriage between Mike and Lizzie. I had many wonderful times with the Whites. She will be in heaven looking down upon us.

I've been sitting here trying to think of the "right" words to say....I don't think there are any. Even though it's been years since we've seen each other that smile you just don't forget. You took me in like one of your own when I needed it and I truly felt like family. Had you not, I don't know where I'd be today (you, Tim and Sean were a saving grace even if you didn't realize it at the time)...I'm blessed to have had you in my life and cherish the time we had. Til we meet again. Love you.

She was a wonderful lady. She made me feel like family the moment I met her. I was in awe of her love for holiday decorating. I had never before met a person that had so many christmas trees in her home. She will be greatly missed. My Christmas holidays will never be the same. I will forever cherish my memories in the White house.
