I can’t believe it’s been 9 years. I think so often,”I need to ask mama about this person or that thing that happened”. I know that she loves being in heaven with all of her family who is there with her. She looked so forward to eternity and I’m so thankful to know she’s there with my people! 

It has been 6 years almost since you went to Heaven. I can’t believe it has been that long really. We miss you and we love that we are who you brought us up to be. You raised us well and you loved us immensely. I love you Mama.

Mama, I miss you. It’s hard to believe that it was 5 years ago, today, that you went to be with the Lord. I remember your love and laughter, and how you helped to make Christmas time more memorable. Love you, mama.

Today I remember my Mother as we prepare for another Christmas holiday. She would be proud of us all for carrying on with life. She was always willing to make the Holidays a special time. She kept Julian, Aileene, Beth and me in her heart. I miss her.

I am now living in my childhood home that my Mother and Father built for us. I have wonderful memories around me about Mom. I am grateful for this tribute site and grateful for my family and its rich history.
