Marshall Anthony Cooper was born December 18, 1955 to the late Booker T. and Mary H. Parker Cooper in Troup County, GA. On Wednesday, August 22, 2012 he answered the call of his Savior at the West GA Medical Center, LaGrange, GA.

At an early age, Marshall joined the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, West Point, GA under the leadership of the late Rev. L. Z. Johnson.

Lil Man”, as he was known by family and friends, grew up and resided all his life in West Point, GA. He was a product of the West Point Public Schools System. He enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitar, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by twin sisters, Catherine and Carolyn.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one sister, Patricia Cooper, West Point, GA; four brothers, William (Lillie) Cooper, Charlie Cooper, Calvin Cooper, West Point, GA and Booker (Linda) Cooper, LaGrange, GA; special nephews and nieces, William, Angela, Antonio and Lutesia, other relatives and friends
