His Life
October 9, 2015

Mr. Patton was a product of the Lanett City School System where he attended Lanier High School. He worked in the textile industry in various mills at West Point Stevens in the Lanett/Valley area and worked many years at Uniroyal, Opelika, AL.

Marvin had a contagious smile and was always happy about life. He was an avid football fan. He was looking forward to the upcoming football season and was excited about the Falcons being 3-0.

Taking care of his family and friends meant everything to Marvin.

He was the son of the late Grover Patton, Sr. and Annie Dell Patton. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Grover Patton, Jr., Charles Patton, Andrew Patton, James Patton, Sr., George Lee Patton and Moses Patton.

Marvin leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, DuJuana Kaye (Calvin) Vance of Newnan, GA, Muriel Lorraine (Charles) Holliday of Lithonia, GA; one son, Quintin Tremain Patton of GA; three granddaughters, Hailee Savana Vance of Newnan, GA, Charisse Laurelle Patton of England; Victoria Ashlei Vance of Tuscaloosa, AL, one aunt Mae Willie Patton Lanett, AL, special acknowledgement to Naketta Billingslea and her daughter Mazion Cofield and a host of other special relatives and friends
