Thinking about you and the Howard Ct memories we made

Mary Carol, Can't help but think how much you contributed to Fort Benito Day Camp. I'm sure things went smoothly because you were there making it so for several years, making it special for the children attending and helping. Your warm friendly smile and positive attitude helped make it easier for the rest of us. Thank you. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Mary
I never met another neighbor who always made my young family feel welcome, comfortable in all situations as well as a true friend in need. Our first home in Hollister was a new surrounding and truly the first neighbor that reached out with a smile I will always remember. I am truly saddened I did not keep in touch over the years but I certainly enjoyed our last conversation when we ran into each other at Target awhile ago. Our children grew together and had many play dates. You loved having my daughter over to get your girl cravings and loved fixing her long blonde hair. She remembers those fond memories as do I. Your boys and extended family have become the fabulous adults they are because of you and Brent’s welcoming home. I will treasure memories of our talks, our walks, and the many laughs we shared. Until we meet again Rest In Peace my dear friend.

You will be forever missed. Your 'door step elves' will now be looking heaven-ward for your sweet smile as they send you your seasonal surprises. From our first meeting to our last, you have always made me so happy that I could call you friend. Continue to be the Mary Carol that we all know and love.

Mary Carol, you have gone on ahead of us. Hug all our loved ones.
We will all be together again in the blink of God's eye.

Mama
Today we lost a smile. A warm hug. An “I’m so proud of you,” on the hardest days. A peal of laughter that shook the house, And a whisper the whole room could hear.
We love you, Mama. It’s hard looking forward at the days ahead, Knowing that you won’t be there.
But we’ll still see you In a Costco shopping cart loaded with food. In a buttery toffee imperfectly dipped in chocolate. In a wind off the sea and a wave crashing against the rocks. In a walk on the sand and an ocean sunset. In the smile of every grandchild you so dearly loved, And in the faces of five boys who made you so very proud.
Today we lost a wife, a mama, a grandma, A cheerleader, an inspiration, a listener, a friend.
But we gained a testimony. A deeper knowledge of God’s great plan. A heavenly whisper, cheering us with strength and support along the way. An “I’m so proud of you,” from beyond the veil whenever we need it.
Today we gained a smile And a hug At the finish line of life, when our own earthly journeys are through, And what a joyous reunion that will be.
