Hello to all of Mary Beth's family. Just want you to know I was remembering Mary Beth on her birthday yesterday. She will always have a special place I my heart. She actually loaned me a sweater to have my class picture taken and never forgot how much fun it was trying on her clothes and picking out what we thought was the best sweater. Mary was well endowed and I was flat as a pancake so you can relate to the effort. Anyway I smile when I recall this and many other things. take care and know I am thinking of you all.

My deepest sympathy to Mary Beth's daughters and families. I have known Mary Beth since Jr, High School. As you can see by the picture of the "Woo Woos", our YMCA basketball team. How we got that name I will never know. I spent many overnights at Mary Beth's house and she at mine. Lots of fun. The last time we visited was our 50th class reunion. She will be missed by all. Love Sandy

To the family of Mimi,....

I found this and hope it helps you a little today and in the weeks to come....lots of prayers and hugs for you during this most difficult journey of losing your dear Mimi....

“Contrary to what a lot of people believe (or hope), comfort doesn’t take the pain away. Comfort slides in beside the pain, pulling up a chair so that we have something more than sorrow in our hearts. Comfort gently expands our spirits so that we can breathe again. Comfort opens our eyes so that we can see possibility again.

And on those days, whether it is the next day or five years removed, on that day when grief rears its dark head again, comfort helps us remember that pain is not all there is”

What else can I say besides that I adored Mimi? Mimi was the type of person who made a lasting impression, no matter how long the interaction. I am so happy that I not only have one or two fond memories of her, but a truck load. Some from an unforgettable trip to Cabo, others just from living under the same roof with her. I am so happy for all of the memories I have with her in them. She might not have been my grandmother by blood, but she always treated me like another one of the grand-kids and I loved her for that.

I am at a loss for words that express the deep loss I feel for all of Mary Beth's family. She was truly a mother on demand for all her daughters and I will always treasure our friendship. My minister once said, when you get to heaven you will see all the people you love and I'm sure there is a long line.. My prayers are with you all.

Mimi was my girlfriend Jodis' mom and because my children and I spent a lot of time with the McNamara family we were blessed to get to know Mimi. She treated my children like her own grandkids, and they all have unique Mimi memories. Most of these have something to do with food. My youngest Beau was her nighttime buddy when they lived in Scottsdale. To all the family and friends, the Grutz family shares your pain and sadness. May God comfort and bless you during this difficult time.

I remember Mimi as a fun loving mom! She was always laughing and her daughter, Jodi, has her fun sense of humor. Jodi and I went to High School together and her mom let her do some crazy things!! I know you will all miss this sweet, loving, fun mother, grandmother and friend. My heart aches with you.

Mimi was truly one of a kind. She was a loving Mom and Grandmother and will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed my time with her when she visited the McNamara family. She was always open to chat, laugh and share stories with us. My daughter, Ali Berlin, spent much time with Mimi over the years and she truly loved her. She has told us many Mimi tales over the years. Our love and thoughts and prayers go with all of the family. May you find comfort in your memories and the knowledge that God has a plan for all of us. Very much love, The Berlins
