I can't even express how sad I was to hear of Mary Ellen's passing and even sadder that I found out after her funeral. She was my second 'Mom' as Deb and I were inseparable as kids. Always welcoming, always smiling, always generous. May your loving spirit comfort those left behind. Always in my heart. Hugs to all.

Aunt Mary was one of the nicest people I ever had the honor to know. She always was such a good sweet lady. I don't think I ever heard her say a bad word about anyone. I know her kids were the most important people in her life. She always said her kids were all good kids and she loved them to the moon and back. Our son was at Dodge, Ne. for a few years serving as a priest there. He taught in West Point and got to know Aunt Mary during his visits to Pamida's. He grew to love her as we all did. We attended Aunt Mary's funeral today but you don't always get to talk to family member's like you want to. I hope all of you stay in touch. It was always nice to see all of you.
