I knew who Maurice was, but I really didn't know who he really was until I read his biography. He always was such a gentleman and a loving husband, but I didn't know that he was also brilliant and accomplished. I pray, that especially today, on HIS BIRTHDAY, you feel God's comforting presence and peace as you remember him.

While I didn't know Maurice as a close friend, I admired him as the gentleman I could see that he was -- distinguished, thoughtful, respectful, giving, and talented.
