Such a beautiful lady! I am so honored to have met her and spend time with her at QBL. Elin, I am so sorry. Her spirit will remain with us all.

I often said I wanted to be Maurine Noble when I grew up. She embodied grace, class, compassion, perseverance, and smiles. I will forever be grateful for her patience and encouragement toward my machine quilting efforts. If not for her encouragement, I may have never cut into Elin's fabric and thread. "Use it! What are you waiting for?"

It's with great sorrow that I receive this news. Maurine was a part of a wonderful and loving family and I am so grateful for all the years that I was even a peripheral member.
