My favorite childhood memory of my aunt “mama” is Thanksgiving.. one year my mom was in the hospital and it was just us kids in the home.. my older sister was determined to make sure we still had a proper holiday.. and so as we just us four kids and my grandma without my mom went to sit to eat whatever my sis had tried to cook for us. .. there is a knock on the door.. and its “‘mama“ (thats whatwe called her) with tupperwares of food and a whole thanksgiving meal. You was legit my grandma’s best friend and my mother’s second
Mom. The last of our elders.. and GONE TOO SOON. COVID 19 has taken you but god got you .and I know my grandma does also.

My sweet mother-in-law may you rest in peace I will miss you so much I thank you for everything that you taught me and the love that you shared your legacy will live on foreverAnd although you’ll be missed your memories will live on forever and mommy thank you so much for teaching me how to make Haitian food!!!! Love you Nat
