I was blessed to have known Mike

Mike was a friend and mentor for over 30 years. As a teenager, I cruised around on my motorcycle often through Sandy. He had several opportunities to arrest me, however he decided to teach me instead. He became like a big brother and lectured me a few times for my own good.
I was lucky to have friends in common and was able to see him from time to time. He was unique and a great man!
