Mike really did have a heart of gold. Though he and I often fought like 'cats and dogs' we always apologized and moved on, usually very quickly, lol. I'm so thankful for the people involved in the final chapter of his life. They made his last months truly special.

Mike had a great sense of humor.. silly and nutty. I have many, many memories of our time together.... footballing, at the shoe shop, or just hanging out. I will never forget when he wrecked his bike in Panama City... he hurt his foot but all he could fuss about was busting a new bottle of Rumplemintz. .... You are now whole again and not in any pain. You will always be remembered Mike.

Mike was one of the kindest guys you'd ever met. He might not of had much but what he had he'd give it to you. He would help some one else before he'd help himself. He was a BIG dog lover. He loved his dogs and his dogs loved him UNCONDITIONALLY. He was there for me when I needed him & I was there for him when he needed me. We both like going to the shooting range. I love ya buddy, Rick
