God saw you were getting tired,
and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arm around you
and whispered, "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
he only takes the best.

Love and prayers to Beth, Amy, Christine and their families.

My favorite thing to tell anyone about my brother Mike is that he is a member of the Sea Glass Association of America! ✨ It gives me an enormous sense of pride. When my children and I would visit we would spend hours scouring the beach near his place in Fortescue. He even designed a special sea glass scooper so you wouldn’t have to bend over. Mike was a collector and gatherer and would research the history of all his magical finds. We would spend hours examining each piece after the search. The most exciting find was a “red” that my daughter Melanie located. You would have thought she struck gold that day. I will treasure my memories of Mike and his enthusiasm of a great find. All my love Mike...Rest In Peace. ✨♥️

I have known Mike for my entire adult life.In the early days I would hang with Mike and Beth and drink beer and listen to music in a tiny residence in pine hill a few blocks from where they moved to on Forrester ave.Back in the 70's we started working together building, renovating, roofing etc.Mike gave me the confidence to take on jobs when I had no clue how we could do some of these projects. He was always fun to work with and to be with.

What beautiful pictures! Certainly a testament to a life well lived. We lost one of the good ones here. Mike was the kindest, gentlest soul and probably the wisest! I have so many happy memories of our families together throughout the years.  He will not be forgotten. Love and prayers to Beth, Amy and Chris and their families. Please reach out to us if you need anything at all

One of my first memories of Mike I was riding in a car with him and he said “look out the window, see that bird over there? It’s a Tern. You know you will never see just one of them...you know why? Because one good turn deserves another!” Mike was definitely one of the good one’s! And I think when my time is up, it would be good to get another turn being with Mike!
Kat and I are thinking of you guys and will cherish our happy memories of Mike!

I love you, Dad. Thanks for always looking out for me, making me laugh, and showing grace and strength in even the most difficult situations. You taught me so much and I'm forever grateful for everything you are. Wishing you love, light, and peace.

My fondest memory of my Dad will always be watching him become a Grampa. He loved spending time with Laney and Jasper showing them sea glass and sea glass marbles and watching them play. We feel so lucky that we had the chance to take a trip to Disney together. His favorite part were parrots trained to fly right above the visitors heads in Animal Kingdom. He will be very missed.

We only met Mike a few times but what I remember was his gentle strength. He was an incredible nature photographer and I looked forward to his posts on Facebook. He was just so easy to be around. Mike faced adversity with steadfast determination and resilience. He lived for Beth and their family. Kudos to you Mike for a life fully lived. You will be missed.
