Leah, yes, Mike was born "Grover Michael Wilson". He was adopted by our dad when he was about 2 years old. He did visit Sault Ste. Marie in 1992 and met Wilson, Millie, most of his half-brothers and his half-sister, Sherry. The Wilson family connection is included in the family tree that exists on geni.com, in case you want more information. We're glad to have a contact for that side of Mike's family. Thank you!

Michael Grover Haas was originally born Michael Grover Wilson and was later adopted. He is my half uncle. I never knew he existed until now. He contacted our family but no one ever relayed this information to the grandchildren. My dad and uncle are the only remaining half brothers he had. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I saw Mike as a dad and he took me in when I had nowhere to go. He assisted me in the search for my step daughter Megan Durr all over by posting missing child posters. He was an incredible and kind man and I miss him soo much. God Bless the family and may we all have no regrets. Mike was a good person and will forever be our hearts :) I have alot of pictures of Mike and will post asap.

I was thinking about Mike on his birthday. I sure wish he would have stayed around. I missed birthday cake and Mike's remarks about aging. We miss you Mike.

Jack and Mike were good friends for close to 30 years. As is the nature of the beast, human, he had his good days and bad, good times and bad, good qualities and not so good. I got to know Mike through Jack. I feel blessed to have know him. He could tell a story in great detail, making you feel like you were there, He will be missed.
