Very humble and always striving to unite all her children, mama is a complete Noble person.
Mama may not be extremely rich but with the little God gave her, she was able to touch many lives. She lived and touched lives.
To die is not to be forgotten but to live forever in the heart ❤️ of those that loved you. Goodbye mummy and say hello to daddy.

A TRIBUTE TO MY LOVING AUNTY DUPE

Aunty Dupe Okorejior was a mother to all, and a selfless one at that. I cannot forget the childhood experience I had with her when I was still in primary school, in the sixties. She trekked with me, from my parents' house in Tundun Wada, to Kakuri, Kaduna, a distance of over 5km, for my baptism. When the priest insisted that I must adopt the name of a saint as my baptismal name, Aunty Dupe caused 'Mary' to be added to my first name, and I got the baptismal name GraceMary.

During my first employment in Lagos, after my secondary school, I stayed with her family for over 2 years before I went for further studies.

Aunty Dupe was very kind and humble. Her face was always aglow and radiating peace. This made everyone always feel at ease in her presence. A loving and lovely lady indeed she was.

We shall greatly miss aunty Dupe. May her Soul Rest in Peace, Amen.

TRIBUTE : Mummy!! As a child, you couldn't bear to see me going through an unbearable situation,where my biological mother (Your elder sister) was going from one state to another for her business. You mothered me from age 4 till you gave my hand out in marriage. You nurtured me,You educated me, You mentored me, You gave me the best of all & you never for once treated me like I wasn't from your womb. I was known & treated as your 2nd child. Grandma's room is empty;she moved away.
She departed this life and has gone to a place,where there is
 no struggle, but with great ease she closed her eyes and took her leave.My grandma was one sweet,loving soul.
I had no doubt where she would go.
We all knew grandma walked with God and bound for heaven to get her reward.No way we can know the lives she touched because that gracious soul gave so much.
She would starve and go any length humanly possible to put a smile on people's faces even when she doesn't have anything, her legacy of kindness is a lot to write home about.
She has thought my siblings and I that kindness and giving goes a long way in life.
We had a grandmother,one who never grew old, her smile is golden made of sunshine,what a beauty she is, black and beautiful.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered
"Come to me"
With tearful eyes we watched you grandma and saw you pass away and although,we love you dearly but its sad we couldn't make u stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,hardworking hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes his own

A Tribute to a worthy Aunty.

I grew up thinking my mum Late Mrs Mabel Ayo Akaranwolu was a twin.
Her sister Mrs Modupe Okorejior - Aunty Dupe as we fondly call her was a replica of my mum in some many ways.
She frequents the house and knows all of us by name and would seek to know our progress academically.
I remembered when she was working with Apex Mills makers of BIG NOTES books when we are to resume school she will bring a lot books for us.
She was the mother figure that nursed all Dee Henry's children.
During my wedding, because of the rush I never had time to go and invite her officially. Dee Henry assisted me in that regards. She was there live and offered prayers as custom demands despite she had a bad legand could not stand for long.
I recall how she stood as our mother when her sister Nma...Mabel Ayo Akaranwolu passed on to glory...
In one of her phrase addressing my dad when she was mourning her sister.... she said "Papa Henry you go take am easy make you no cry too much....na how you go take care of this children na him remain now oh"....
Oh how sad, she has finally made her way to join her beloved sister.
It's well, she has finished her cause here on earth.... I pray the Lord her soul to keep.
May God almighty be gracious unto her and grant her eternal life..Amen.
Adieu mummy till me meet to part no more.
I pray for the immediate family that the Lord will grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss
