Dear mum, it's 6yrs you left, and still feels like yesterday. Nobody has been able to take your place. Sometimes I wish you were here, so I could ask many questions. I would have loved you to tell me how growing up was like for my husband. I want to know if Sharon shares similarities with him. Because she is his female version. I want to know if he suckled his fingers, because Sharon did, even Stephanie is an expert in it already. So many questions that might sound stupid to others, but makes slot if meaning to me. Mummy after you left, I became a registered nurse, I got married to your son, we have two kids now. But unfortunately they will only see you in pictures. Thanks mum for taking me as a daughter while alive, I remember you would ask me to send the list of things I needed in school. You sent me pocket money. You took me as your own daughter. Funny enough I saved your number as "my mum" while you were alive. You weren't my mother in-law, you were my mum. If am to choose a mum in-law again in my next life, I will definitely pick you. If am to write about my moments and memories of you, it will be unending. Continue to rest on mum. We love then, now and always.
From Bukola, on behalf of Segun, Sharon ND Stephanie. We love you grandma.
