Mrs. Mollie Annett Jones Young was born January 18, 1952 in Lanett, Chambers County, AL to the parentage of the late Robert and Mattie Mae Jones. She departed this life on February 5, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center-Lanier, Valley, AL.

“Annette”, as she was called by all, accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lanett, AL.

Annette received her education in the Lanett City School System and was member of the 1970 graduating class of Lanier High School.

Annette enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward,; son, Dexter; and granddaughter, Afton.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Arthur Young, Lanett, AL; two daughters, Gogi Jones and LaWanda (Tony) Cox, Lanett, AL; a loving pet, Happy; two brothers, Rev. Stantley(Sandra)Roberts, Sr., Rev. Rodney(Earnestine)Jones, Lanett, AL; four sisters, Barbara(Willie) Huguley, New Orleans, LA, Marie Jones, Elizabeth (Willie) Jennings, Lanett, AL, Chris(Kerrick) Davis, Newnan, GA; sister-in-law., Irene Jones, Lanett, AL; several children she reared as her own, LaPecco, Ervin, Baraki, Oren,Angel and Tamika; six grandchildren, Mellisa, Raven, Tramarkquis, Markeisha, Tavon and Miracles Jones, three great grandchildren, Aiden, Raigahn Winston, and Keelan Jones, ; two god daughters, Quintresia Vines and Malisia Holloway, Lanett, AL; one god brothers, James Scott, Lanett, AL ; six god grandchildren, Mariyah, Sincere, Paris, Gerald Jr., Jacobie and Bryson; three aunts, Hattie Marshall, Nettie Lyons, and Betty Newton; one uncle, Willie Roberts, Lanett, AL; special cousins, Janice Spidell, Yolanda Smith; special friends, Lisa Madden, Jenice Farrier, Glory Hill, Annette Gibson and Lizzie Farrier; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
