I asked mom if she could go anywhere, where would she want to go. She said the Smokey mountains. So my sister's and I took her there. Rented a beautiful house in the mountains that was so far off the beaten path, we drove 20 minutes to get to the first road. We would hear black bears all around us every day we were there. We woke up one morning and couldn't find mom anywhere. We started looking everywhere. After what seemed like hours, we thought mom might have decided to walk around. We thought she might have been eaten by a bear. LOL. Finally found her sitting on the balcony drinking coffee. We were all so scared, we hugged her and started giving her kisses. We asked her why she wouldn't answer us and she said she was looking for her mountain man.
