James Wallace Paige was born August 4, 1945 to the parentage of John Cornelius and Roynell White Paige in LaGrange, Georgia. He lived in Atlanta, Georgia for many years and was self-employed as a mechanic.

During the later years of his life, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and united with Walking By Faith Deliverance Ministry, Lanett, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor Sherry Grady.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Lee Byrd and Alphonso Paige; and, one sister, Jimmie Nell Varner. Mr. Paige departed this life on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta, Georgia.

His survivors include: one brother, Audrey Paige, Atlanta, GA; devoted niece and caregiver, Cathy (Peter) Bullard; caregiver, William Carl Tucker; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
