April 27, 2017

William Worrell was born February 15, 1927 in Harris County, Georgia to the late Mary “Kiss” Worrell. Affectionately called “Bill Word”, he lived in the Beulah Community of Valley, Alabama for many years. Before retirement, he worked in Food Service and later enjoyed going to the Beulah Senior Center.

He is survived by: his devoted caregiver, Betty Barnes, one aunt, Mary Moore; two first cousins, Joan Turner and Gene Floyd; and, a host of cousins and friends.

Special thanks to Dr. Joseph Downs, the staff of Golden Living Center, Lanett, AL and Compassus Hospice for their exceptional care and devotion during his illness.
