Mrs. Carrie Darden W. Meadows was born February 29, 1948 in Langdale, Alabama to the late John and Mary Carter Darden, Sr.

Carrie was a 1966 graduate of Rehobeth High School of Fairfax, AL. She was united in holy matrimony to Tommy Lee Meadows and they became the loving parents of three sons: Daniel, Tommy, Jr. and Jason. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Carrie was a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation in Valley, AL. She always had love and compassion for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Carrie Darden Williams Meadows departed this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in LaGrange Hospice, LaGrange, GA.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving, dedicated and devoted husband, Tommy Lee Meadows, Sr., Lanett, AL; three sons, Daniel (Tara) Williams, LaGrange, GA, Tommy Lee Meadows, Jr., Jonesboro, GA and Jason (Belinda) Meadows, Opelika, AL; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Napoleon (Pearlie) Darden, Fred (Alice) Darden and James Darden all of Valley, AL; three sisters, Annie Edwards, Lanett, AL, Martha Hervey, LaGrange, GA and Eva Stratford, Cusseta, AL; two sisters-n-law, Barbara Reese and Rita Meadows both of Opelika, AL; four brothers-in-law, Willie Meadows, Valley, AL, David Meadows and James Meadows both of Opelika, AL and Michael Meadows, Dallas, TX; aunts and uncles; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
