Christmas gift for all..
This article is not only for children but for all mothers to know their role and status as Motherhood.
According to all scriptures Only God has power who creates, maintains and destroys the universe, but the power with which these functions are performed, is called Shakti (The universal female energy), the Divine Mother. just as the Divine Mother of Jesus or Parvati wife of shiva as his Shakti. You may call her Mariam in Christianity & Islam and as Ma Durga Maa Saraswati and Maa Parvati in Hinduism.
The saying, “Maatri Devo Bhavah” ( power that equates with that of Divinity.) This female energy is the origin of “mother power”. Thus the idea, that only the human mother is worthy of carrying and delivering a child in her womb, she is the reverence and exalted figure worthy of all respect, a boundless, endless and all-encompassing power of the earthly or biological mother.
Mother is the one who is considered to be the most exalted and worthy of respect and service.
She is one who has multiple forms.
The creator
The nurturing
The seat of wisdom.
The warrior,
The giver of wealth.
The destroyer of all evil.
Mother is the first teacher (The Guru;) she is indeed the first face a child sees as “God”. The unparalleled love possessed by a mother for her children are the subject of praise and reverence are in numerous scriptures, the some verses even in the holy Quran.
No doubt, Mother’s blessing is integral to success.
Mother is the very embodiment of qualities such as
love,
Caring
Sharing
Guide
sacrifice,
Patience
Courage
Strength
forbearance and selfless service to her children.
“mothers” have been given a pedestal position in a world of many different relationships, like mother in law, foster mother, guardian mother, grandmother and guruma.
Mother for every child is God in human form, in Islam Quran teaches the world that the source of bliss and blessings of paradise is at the feet of “Maa” – mother.
The word “Maa” comprises the consonant “Ma” and vowel “aa”. This consonant pertains to the heart which evokes the emotions of love, joy and happiness while the vowel relates to the “power of bliss”. It is not by chance, then, that one’s mother is the treasure-house of all bliss, love and success, but she is the essence of “ichha shakti” (power of will), like Lakshmi Maa, “gyaan shakti” (the power of knowledge) and Saraswati Maataa, “kriyaa shakti” (power of activity), the earthly mother ensures that her child is a well-nourished child, whose activities are directed by her will and with proper knowledge.
The power wielded by mothers on their children’s lives spread far beyond worldly experiences and the impact created by them starts from the womb. Even before a child is born the mother’s impressions strike deep roots within child’s consciousness.
Many are the scriptural episodes that prove the unique and effective role of the earthly mother in a child’s upbringing. None can assume her role. She is irreplaceable.
The importance of the mother in the scriptures quotes point of view of reverence is that mother as a teacher ( guru) she is ten-fold superior to a mere lecturer, a father a hundredfold to a teacher and a mother a thousand-fold to a father.”
This article is specially for those children who forget their boundaries of respect towards their mothers and give emphasis to worldly perishable material relationships to things, which is an illusion of this world. It may be worthwhile for all children to reflect on the contribution of their mothers. It quotes in scripture that a child for seven life-times, can never repay the debt they owes to one’s mother or parents.
