Dear BJ, Shelley, Emma & Aili,
There are many things we will miss about Nancy, but just a few are: her laugh, her smile, and her positive spirit. Whenever we would come over, she always had a big smile for us and it was always nice to catch up with her. I love how she always looked positively delighted with whatever the girls were up to...from babies through teens. I know I will miss the sound of her laugh :) You were all so blessed to have such a loving mom, mother-in-law, and grandma. Her passing leaves a giant hole in your family and your hearts, but hopefully over time that hole will fill back in as you think of your wonderful memories of her, and share your many Nancy stories with each other.

Though they age and we know it is inevitable, there is no way to ever be prepared for the loss of a parent/grandparent. Not a day will go by that you are not reminded of Nancy or think "I should call mom and tell her...". While sad, it is these memories and lapses that prove what a positive and influential person she was in your lives. No one case say her final years did not have any excitement, with regular family visits, grandkid parties, and even a dog rumble! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Susan, Allison, Ciara, and Matt.

Grandma Nancy was will be remembered for her devotion to her family, friends, and animals. She was a rock in the family, and was incredible role model for those who had the privilege to meet her. She taught me so much about being selfless and giving back. Nancy always had a smile on her face, and her happiness was infectious. I'll never forget her on the sidelines of my soccer and lacrosse games (regardless of the weather) or talking to her about Mariner baseball.

BJ, I am so sorry to hear of your mom passing. I have a lot of good memories of your mom from her picking us up after football practice and taking us to eat at McDonalds to her making the best tuna sandwich I had ever had. She was a beautiful soul and was one hell of a mom! Love ya bro
