Fufu,
My first landing place upon my initial return in April 2011 to Liberia was your home. You were there for me, giving me all the support that I needed to make my landing, my return, a soft one. For this I will eternally be grateful because everyone needs a soft landing place to break into their return to Liberia. To say thank you is not enough. All I can do is to repeat what you did for me for another person. I really wish you did not have to go now. This country needs all the history and experience that you have stored in your repository - your head. It is a major loss for the country. I was so happy when I learned that you had returned to school and were working at the AfDB. So glad you were able to send your grandson to the US to jjoin your son. So fortunate for you to have reunited me with your brother Omar - my St. Patrick's and Basketball Brother whom I had lost touch with for a while. You were not only my friend, you were my sister. You will be surely missed. I pray for you to have a safe landing on the other side. I know that you are in peace. I pray that you intercede on our behalf with God for a better days to come to Liberia. Rest in Peace Fufu, till we meet again. That smile, That motherly spirit...will forever be etched in my mind. Go in peace and may light perpetual shine on you. Amen.
