Ms. Nettie Mae McGill- Holston was born in Meriwether County, GA to the late Mrs. Verlia Mae McGill and the late Mr. Jessie C. McGill on December 8, 1955.

       Her early education was earned at McCrary Elementary and Woodbury High before she received various certifications in the Home Healthcare field where she rendered her services for over a decade.       

On Tuesday, May 20, 2014, the lord continue to decorate his eternal garden and selected Nettie to join her mother, father, brother, Jessie E. McGill and sister, Mable Birts.    

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Tammy Bennett, Kesha McGill and Milton Holston; eight grandchildren: Terrence, Alajaha, Kadajah, Kerinase, Komesha, Komarsha, Kentrail and Jermarcus; five great-grandchildren: Preston, Jay’vious, Da’moni, Messiah and Riy’lee; six sisters, four brothers:  Geraldine Greene (Robert), James McGill (Lucille) of Atlanta, GA, Ophelia, Martha, Emma, Curtis McGill, all of Gay, GA, Fabion McGill (Shelia) of Greenville, GA, Carolyn McGill of Riverdale, GA, Ronnie McGill (Diane) of Newnan, GA, Hattie Blount of Luthersville, GA; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who mourn her transition. 

 Nettie worshipped at her home church, Mt. Venus Missionary Baptist Church under Reverend T. R. Roberson and was a frequent visitor of Oak Grove Baptist Church Ministries under Bishop Milton Holston.
