I remember when I visited Delhi growing up. Niju Mama would have a daily schedule for Kavi and I, showing the thought he put into our visits. Our visits would be full of beautiful walks in the rose garden, having crunchy toast and chai in the mornings, and seeing all of our family in India. Mama had a quiet way that I admired greatly. He spoke through gentle action. He is to this day one of the most thoughtful people that I've ever known. When I was home in NJ, he would sometimes call and we would have long conversations about what I was doing, world events or on ways to be environmentally conscious (he way ahead of his time on this one). He was a tremendous listener and had a truly genuine way of connecting w/ people, but especially with people he loved. I will always miss you Mama. Love, Ash
