Dear Nnenna, hard to believe today marks the fifth year since you transitioned into glory, it is indeed an understatement to say we miss you terribly. Just weeks ago one of your nephews said in passing how he wishes you were still here, our shining light.
Thank you for being such an amazing, kind person, your absence is indeed felt deeply, I recall how your passing challenged aspects of my faith and led me in search of teachings on theodicy, but I accept it is folly not to submit to the ultimate sovereignty of God.
Today I celebrate your heart of gold, your sisterly love and care, which knew no bounds. I fondly recall the special memories we shared from when I met your immediate younger brother, your hospitality and the trips we took together, they will forever hold a special place in my heart, so much I still wish we could turn back the hands of time, but we take comfort knowing that you are in a far better place, enjoying God’s inalienable light, shining down and watching over us all.
Your love and legacy will continue to live on in our hearts forever dear Nnenna. Rest on my precious sister and friend. Rest on.
