Thank you for teaching us that Joy is indeed a fruit of the Spirit. It was a fruit of yours! I’m glad you get to actually "enjoy your life" now in the bosom of your Heavenly Father. It hurts that it had to happen this way but we trust that God knows best.
You’ve laboured, now it’s time to rest. Rest well, till we meet again <3

It is surreal to know that you have left this side of the world and transited to life hereafter.
You were such a beautiful soul and an exemplary Christian.
You were a shinning light. I was not close to you physically but I treasured you so much and talked about you.
I woke up this morning to convince myself it cannot be true. Why? You had a beautiful soul in a beautiful body.
Thank you for the life you lived. Your stories! Your love! Your authenticity! Your innocence!
I believe you are resting from your labour and enjoying your life everyday with the one you loved and served. Yes you modelled joy and love even in affliction.

And we know that when our time is up, we shall be called up and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

May the good Lord envelope the Taiwo Odukoya family with His love, comfort and assuring presence.

Even at this time, Alleluia no go finish from our mouths.

Pastor Nomthi, thank you for teaching me how to enjoy my life regardless of life challenges. Your teachings on the Book of Ruth and the story of Prophet Elisha and the prophet's widow are forever etched in my heart. Thank you for filling our lives with your beauty, genuine and pure love, smiles, joy and words of wisdom. You have fought a good fight of faith and finished well. You are finally with our Lord Jesus Christ whom you love with a reckless abandon and devoted your whole life in worship and service to. We love you but He loves you the most. Rest in Power God's General.
Your memory and legacy are blessed.

But as I go through your page, all I see is a true African Queen...ANGELS surrounding you in that glow....beauty, grace, joy and THAT constant smile, that changes destinies of men and nations... I am glad that the Lord brought you to know my country and I am glad you were able to fulfill your purpose in Christ to our generation and dispensation. Rest, "Sister, mother, wife and woman of God", sleep... We will meet to part no more at the sound of the Trump of God.

Pastor NOMTHI ODUKOYA. My Mama.
It was never a lost for me to see that you've been called to the Glory. Just that I will miss your endless Love towards the body of Christ.

On the 9th of January 2019 when I led the praise for the first Thursday showers, when you and Papa with the guest minister entered the temple of God, I felt the presence of God more than we started. It was a privilege for me seeing you lifting your hands toward Heaven GENUINELY in worship.

You are a great Minstrel, I will forever remember you Mummy.
Rest very well.

Every Thursday I looked forward to see Pastor Nomthi, the way she ask the congregation "how are you?" And she gets a resounding "I'm enjoying my life" from the congregation, then she would reply "I'm enjoying mine too". She dazzles me with her outfits, I had thought to myself if only I could bump into her on one of the showers to get a photograph with her but I never had the courage to do so.

On the 31st of December, 2020, she talked about 2 for 4 : 7 - 17, I shouted "my anchor scripture", I felt butterflies in my stomach, it's an awesome day in the presence of the LORD.

She helped me out of my "Abysmal" with the word she shared every Thursday and I began to look good again because I wanted to enjoy my life in Christ.

The way she introduces her husband to the pulpit is second to none, she's just too sweet to have gone to be with the LORD. A beautiful soul with the heart of a child, her children illustrations with real life situations knocks me off each time like !!! Haba, but God why? God knows the end from the beginning sha.

Hallelujah never finish for our mouth like this? I hope and pray not!!! Never!!! Hallelujah no go finish for our mouth.

God, comfort, console pastor Taiwo, his family and the Church now and forever in Jesus name, Amen .

Pastor Nomthi,

You beamed with such great light and laughed with your eyes. Your joy could almost be touched and you danced like a child. Thank you for giving us the gift of yourself and for the many deep lessons you shared with everyday stories. You are such a beautiful gain for heaven but it hurts to know that someone as beautiful as you is no longer here. Praying comfort and strength for Pastor Taiwo and the entire family and trusting that God would strengthen the body of Christ so that our faith will not fail even though we are broken by your loss. Rest in ABBA’s blossom. See you in the morning Ma.

Oba mi Awamaridi... Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, this hallelujah is still very much in my mouth, it will not finish. His eyes is on the sparrow and I know He watches us in Fountain of Life. The Lord that still rules in the affairs of men

Pastor Nom,

It was impossible for anyone to hide how much they loved you simply because that love was a reflection of the love we first received from you.

I remember you thanking us in church for welcoming you, receiving you, and loving you when in truth, it was you who first welcomed us, received us, and loved us like no other.

You taught me so much about motherhood, unconditional love, and second chances. You taught me to love my children; not just as my children, but as children of God, worthy of love. You taught me to hope and always trust God for His best.

Your smiles, dancing, insights into scripture, made you so unique, so special, and altogether unforgettable.

I cannot pretend that this does not cut deep, but I am comforted in the thought that we will surely meet again when we dance Halleluyah together in eternity.

You are forever in our hearts and will be sorely missed on this side of the divide.

My dear pastor Nomthi! You didn't know me but I loved you very very much. Your big smiles, child-like spirit, singing, dancing and your ability to preach a loaded sermon with a relatable every day story were just a few of the reasons I loved you so dearly. I dreamed of raiding your closet one day, your outfits were just the best. I remember one vigil service when Pastor asked us to walk up to any pastor we've been meaning to talk to and strike a conversation. I walked up to you and I was just blushing, couldn't get any words out. You gave me a big smile, held my hand and said God loves you. Well, clearly God loved you too and now He has you all for Himself. I know your beautiful soul is going to rest in perfect peace and now there's more dancing and singing than you could have gotten on this earth. Thank you for giving us all of you! I'll miss you very much ♥️

Its been a real struggle for to understand why it happened. She was (hard to refer to her in past tense) such a happy woman. Always wore a smile , absolutely enjoying her life. The closest I got to her was during one of the anointing services, she was the pastor that anointed my head and before I got to her , she had this amazing welcoming smile. And that's all I have had in my head since yesterday. REST ON sweet soul of our dear Pastor. Your memory will absolutely live on. We love you.

YAHWEH! The Unquestionable God!

The reality that you will no longer be with us physically till Christ returns is torturous. This rude awakening accentuates the impact of the void your demise has left us which only God can fill.

Nonetheless, we take solace in His Words and lie deep in His comfort. I’m further comforted in that you now sing HALLELUYAH, dancing and putting praises on it with the Angels and the hosts of Heaven in God’s Presence.

You were larger than life! You loved like Jesus, served like the Master and radiated so much irresistible joy with your infectious smiles and your graceful and glorious dance steps.

If tears will return you to us and keep
you among us, we will surely make the world an ocean of tears.

If questioning God will provoke your instant resurrection to life, we will never stop.

This hurts so deep! But, He remains The Unquestionable God!

We will continue to run the race; we will keep holding the fort; and we will continue to stand firm in faith in Christ Jesus. We will continue to sing Halleluyah and put His praises on all things as you thought us. We will surely continue to enjoy our lives as you thought us.

Till we meet again at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ on the resurrection morning, rest in perfect peace in Jesus. Continue to Enjoy Your Life with Jesus.

ADIEU! Dearest Pastor Nomthi Rosemary Simangele Odukoya. #EnjoyYourLife

Lord pls uphold and strengthen our Father Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, his children and entire relatives and your Church in Jesus’ Name. Amen
