Heaven has gained an angel. And on the resurrection day, we shall meet again at the lord feet and part no more. Rest well Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.

So hard to accept, so hard to believe, so hard to say goodbye Pastor Nomthi Odukoya , you impacted my life positively through your teaching at Home affairs, how you deliver the promise for the week and the word of God from simple life happenings on Sundays, I was looking out for you in church last Sunday, but you weren't in church, not knowing you were going through your last moment, you were full of life, a happy and virtuous woman. Pastor Nomthi bye for now. My closest interaction with you apart from laying hands to pray and anointing service was when you and Pastor Taiwo consoled me in the office after my husband passed. You offered a tissue to wipe my tears. I pray God wipes tears from all you left behind. My mind went to you one or two days before yesterday. I was wondering if you relocated. Now this is not the level I was thinking. You were a beautiful spring of joy to all. I am pained. The Lord keep all your family.

Your smile and the joy you exuded was brightening and contagious.
The simple ways you shared God's word using stories was imparting.
I thank God for your life, you have gone to a better place to be with your Father.

Like many people, I never got to meet Pastor Nomthi in person, but we met each other every Sunday, for the Promise, and after every Instagram post, because you were always speaking to me.

Your legacies transcend many unborn generations. You were a true worshipper, a daughter of Zion, and we will miss you dearly.

I pray for Pastor Taiwo and the children who would have to be strengthened in the Lord, with this setback. But, we know that with God on their side, they shall mount up with wings like eagles.

Our ‘loss’ here on this side of heaven is heaven’s triumphant gain.

It feels sad to say but, you have run your race, left us to Enjoy Our Lives, and returned Home. Thank you Pastor Nomthi for coming into our lives and for not leaving us the way you met us.

I was about to turn off my phone and sleep, when my eyes caught the caption " Pastor Nomthi is dead"  Wow! Wow! One of my most admired pastors is gone!  I had a broken sleep throughout the night, reflecting on life! A vibrant woman,  of God , a typical example of what a Christian 2nd family should be. She married a widower , Pastor Taiwo Odukoya after the loss of his beloved, wife Pastor Bimbo in Plane Crash. She embraced her husband's children, put smile and vibrancy back to Pastor Taiwo"s life and church. Had two lovely boys of her own. Pastor Nomthi was full of life. Her aura had the power to transform sadness to joy, the light she radiated could illuminate a downcast spirit and breathe life into it. You were very beautiful, bubbly, energetic and fashionista per excellence. You had wisdom for words of knowledge and became my penpal through my comments on your post. Peace Pastor Peace Pastor Nomthi , LORD YOU ARE INDEED YOUR OWN INTERPRETER!!!! You would be solely missed. May the good Lord give your family the fortitude to bear the loss. ADIEU!

I never met Pastor Nomthi but I followed her on Instagram and she was such an inspiration.She always replied my messages and liked my comments on her page.This is such a rude shock but who are we to question God.I pray her soul rests in peace and pray for comfort for the Odukoya family and the church of God at this time.Rest in peace Pastor Nomthi❤❤

My first contact with Pastor Nomthi was during US Showers several years ago. She was a great inspiration to many. Her simplicity and humility is second to none. Her deep passion for God was legendary. Heaven indeed gained a soul. Good night Pastor Nom.
