I just learned of Norbert's passing and I am moved beyond tears. My thoughts and prayers to his family. He always had a kind word about everyone he and was one of the most respected individuals in the industry. His legacy will live on and reflected in the thousands of people he has helped of his career. He was a colleague and associate but most of all........a friend. He will be missed.

Norbert was the best, he had an answer for every question with a hint of common sense sarcasm! Always asked me if we had any "Moskey" C&B flasks still laying around. His famous quote, "don't hit a casting on the button with a hammer, that's where your problems are starting" My prayers go out to his immediate family and the Argen staff.

Today I read about the passing of a man who seemed to know everything about dental alloys. I am so sad in my heart. Norbert was always so generous whenever I called. We had many discussions about the how and why of waxing,investing,casting, and so. I will miss having him out there. Good thoughts to his family at Argen.

I was shocked to hear of this terrible loss. When ever we spoke he had so much knowledge and imput. He HELPED me so much with my problems. The man was extremly smart. And im sure it was'nt just in alloys but in LIFE.My prayers to his family.He'll be missed.

I remember sitting in on great tecnical alloy lectures that Norbert had put on over the years, whether it was when I was in Chicago or I even believe he used to come to Toronto to do the Techorama show.

Norbert is an industry icon. Dedication and commitment are synonymous with his name. As a newbie in the lab industry, he patiently tutored me and facilitated my success. Later in my career, he mentored me as a technical consultant and troubleshooter. One never knows the impact he may have for good- Norbert has literally blessed the lives and careers of thousands for the greater good. RIP!

Norbert, I am so glad you accidently picked up the phone when I called Argen the week before the 24th. Hearing your blushing laugh always made me smile. I am heartbroken for your family and Argen family. I always told you I was your best fan from Texas......... Thank you for your kindness, knowledge and gifts to the industry. I am thankful for hearing your smile before you had to leave.

I had the honor and pleasure of having worked with Norbert the last 2 years when I became a member of the Argen family. He was a very kind, knowledgeable, family man whom I admired so much and loved working with. I was his go-to guy for his odds & ends chores for his RMA's and occasional computer tech support. Norbs, thank you for all the wisdom and values you unselfishly shared with us!

I wrote a story about Norbert and want to light a candle as well.
Norbert was amazing! A big, bright sunshine ray that shined 5 days a week...we were all lucky to see and feel that energy!

Norbert was truly a great friend and colleague to all of us. He has helped teach me more about dental alloy than anyone I have known over the years. He was kind and helpful to all of my customers here in Texas. I wish he would have written a book about some of the funny technical questions he has taken over the years. It would be at least a 1,000 pages long. May God comfort your family.

I was very saddened by the news of Norbert's passing. He was a great friend and always had time to share his warmth and dry sense of humour. The Dental Technology profession has lost an generous educator and an amazing technical resource -he will be missed.

I thoroughly enjoyed knowing Norbert for nearly 18 years. No one will be able to fill the emptiness I feel right now. He was kind, generous, and loved talking about alloys, and never tired of explaining how and why one alloy was better than the other. That is why every alloy in my mouth since I've known him came from his advise. Norb was just a very special person, and I will miss him!

Over the summer I worked in the lab as an intern. Though I only saw him in passing, Norbert was always there to greet me with a warn smile whenever we crossed paths. He really just made my transition into the lab a welcoming experience and I will always remember the brief moments we shared.

Norbert and I have been friends and co workers for 21 years. Norbert was one of the first people at Argen that I immediately struck up a friendship with. Norbert always had a positive attitude about himself and made you feel better after speaking with him.
I had Norbert come to Texas many times over the years and every time, he would meet my daughters.

Norbert would always call my girls his girls. Every time we would hang up from a conversation, he would say. Take care of my girls! Norbert meant my wife and two daughters. We will all miss him. Thank God for letting us have Norbert in our lives for the 21 years that we did.

It’s shocking to the receive news like this, when you just had lunch with him the week before. He was always there and now he won’t be.
Norbert always treated me and everyone like gold. He was truly a treasure.

When I first started at Argen, almost 10 years ago, Norbert would call or email me a couple of times a week to see if I needed his help. He was so kind and patient when explaining things to me or our customers. Norbert, I am hearbroken to know I will not see your smiley face, hear you say "Hello my friend" and offer a piece of gum. I have only had the pleasure to work with Norbert a short time, but in that short time I became good friends with him. Every morning he would give the captek girls candy or treats....our day always started off great with this tradition. I will miss you dearly Norbert. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Norbert took me under his wing 7 1/2 years ago when I came to Argen with no experience in the dental industry. I called him with so many questions and over time, although I usually knew the answer I would still call him to be sure. Every conversation started with "Hi Sweetie" and ended with Norbert reminding me to believe in how much I actually knew. Goodbye Sweetie! You will be missed....

I could probably talk forever about how great Norbert is! I first met Norb when I was very young. He worked with and taught my father about alloys for over 20 years. 10 years ago I was hired by Argen which gave me the honor to work with him as well. He taught the world so much. He was one of the kindest men known. I am so glad my whole family knew him. Thank you Norb just for being!

In addition to all of his professional accolades, Norb was just a great guy who loved joining you in conversation. Early on, we discoverd that we had travel in Mexico in common and, much to our surprise, we both had a favorite taco place in Mexico City...the "Tizoncito". Norb, I hope you're enjoying tacos at the heavenly taco stand:-)
