Posted by Julia Ginocchio Luniewski on July 24, 2013: Last night Nori Warden Moyoli earned her wings after a two year battle with colon cancer. Her family & friends have remarked how she exuded humility, grace, strength, dignity, love & warmth until the very end. I wouldn't expect any less from this extraordinary woman. There are few people I have idolized, she was one of them. She was the type of young woman I wanted to be. Her frame was dainty, but her heart was huge. She was bright, generous, compassionate, & open minded. She came from Utah, but her life was a colorful tapestry woven with the experiences she embraced from many cultures. She had soul, and a fierce spirit. She was always up for adventure, and loved to dance! She was the fairest sister in Nigerian dance, but held her own place in the studio. Her beauty & smile drew everyone to her, but she never needed to be the center of attention. I only had one year to be in the same city with her, but the time shared has left such an impression on me. I don't remember much about high-school, but deep admiration has imprinted a stunning collage of Nori in my mind. The world would be a little less beautiful for our loss, if not for her two gorgeous children.
