Ha! I am still in shock, but i can't question God. Even as i write this, my eyes are filled with tears again since I heard the news early hours of yesterday. Dr Ronke, goodnight! till we see at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our hope is not in this world so we shall see again, I comfort myself with that. My prayer is that Lord, you be a father and mother to Olaolu and Damilola.

Dr. Ronke! The name always made me want to see her even though I left SFH 6 years ago. She IS a role model, a mother figure. All my dealings with her were warm and of course she always welcomed me with that charming smile. She had a heart sweeter and calmer than her sweet calm looks. She is one you do not want to say is gone! It is well. Rest in the bossom of our Lord. Till we come.

Your voice...that voice. It can never be silenced because it still rings out, strong and true. You. Silently, I always asked, "who is this woman with a beautiful soul?" Inward, i always said i wish I could be half the woman you were. Truly your life is an example of courage, passion, leadership, strength and character. May your legend live forever. No goodbyes here. This is a big shock. Ronke how come? what happened? Those are the questions I am asking and there is no one to answer them. I am too stunned to say much but to to say I will miss you is an understatement going from our days as medical officers at First Consultant. We thank God for a lifetime of knowing Him and trust that we will yet meet at ghe feet of our Lord and Master RIP

Dr Ronke, this is Maggie as you usually called me. I simply cannot reconcile this. You just walked away. You have left a vacuum that will be so difficult to fill in SFH and in the lives of so many of us. Dr Ronke to die is to live in the hearts of those who love you. You will be dearly missed. Adieu. May your beautiful soul rest in perfect peace, may perpetual light shine upon your soul. Amen

I know death is such a debt we all have to pay but why do the good ones go so soon? No matter how long we live or how much we achieve on the surface of this “market place”, it will never be as great as the promise of eternal life that our creator has for us. Though, this is such a big loss but I’m happy and confident that you are finally at home; in the right hand side of your creator.

A life that has impacted on its generation is not one that was lived for so long but one that was lived very well. Dr Ronke, you have truely impacted your generation. You lived well and was selfless. You indeed contributed your quota to development work inNigeria. may God Almighty whose ways are past human understanding grant your family and all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
We cried as you left for an unknown land.
But Heaven rejoiced as you came into
sight,
For your soul was a diamond, shining so bright

The loss of a dear person like Dr Olaronke Ladipo can not be expressed with words. My consolation is that She died in the Lord. Since 1999, she assumed many roles in my life: a Mentor, a boss, a passionate and loving aunt, my landlady for 9 months, my neighbour for 6 years, and a very strong voice of courage and progress. Surely, God will not forget your labour of love.

Doctor, what is the meaning of this? At least you could have said bye, even if I didnt understand that it was the last one. That tuesday I rushed to your office since I didnt get your usual tuesday 'wake up' text. I found it empty and so I knew you traveled. Dont worry, some of your words, cliches, and even the chocolates will continue to remind us of you as we run our race. Rest, Sister

I really don't know what to say, or how to react. I remember speaking to you 3 days ago....just some simple issues, but what came through so strongly was your love for your children and your dedication to God. I will really miss your forthrightness, your advice and your dedication to improving health. If only...if only... So many if onlys but God knows why.
