I thank God for giving you rest when the hill was too difficult for you to climb. We will celebrate you here as you are been celebrated in heaven. We will always remember that ,there was once a kindhearted, hardworking and gracious Olukemi Aya Akomolafe who once passed this stage. Rest in peace until we meet to pass no more.

Our dear Mrs Adekemi Akomolafe who is now resting in the bosom of the Lord, was fondly called Mummy Ife within our family .
She was a wonderful woman who lived a prayerful life and would always greet with prayers. Mummy Ife was very friendly, she had a good word and a pleasant joke for everyone she met.
Our relationship started almost three decades ago and we never regretted our meeting and coming together as family.
Mummy Ife was very respectful, always accommodating and loving . She operated an open door system in her home. At many different times she boarded, trained and educated several relatives, and several children whom she never knew nor met their parents. This we got to know, because as our relationship progressed we met several of these her adopted children and relatives.
We were not surprised when we noticed this level of warmth and openness in her biological children too.
Mummy Ife would pick up the phone and call just to find out our well being. She ensured that we did not lack the best of farm products all year round. A few weeks before her passing, she still sent various items to us in Lagos.
Mummy Ife fondly called me Aunty Doyin and related with me as her daughter.
In Ife branch office of the organization I worked Mummy Ife had several children.Often times she would call me up in Lagos on some request relating to any of these my aburos (as she called them) I would dare not tarry on it, because when Mummy Ife was on you, she was on you.
At Christmas time, when I sent gift items to her she would share it to her children in Ife branch and her church members. I would send more and peeeewn Mummy Ife had given them all out. No matter the number you sent, they were gone.
Mummy Ife had a very kind heart and she was a blessing to many.
She left a great legacy behind.

Mummy Ife, we will surely miss you.

Adieu

Hmmmm, mama Titi, its hard to say good bye. I've known her for over 50 years, the only rock behind baba titi. A good organiser of the family's wellbeing. She took care of her husband's relations as if her life depend on them. She had a unique quality, you can never provoke mama Titi. God fearing and religiously associated with co believers. Abiyamo to n raga bo omo re, she never took chances with her children's health. She listened to advice, very honest and reliable. She was a trustworthy person. Mafolayomi, I remembered u told me that if people don't last in your linege, yours will be an exception. You said you will reach and pass age 70 and God granted your wish. One thing is uncommon that you and your husband should die the same day, I appeal to Baba Titi to brace up and be strong at this time for the children.

There is no word suitable enough to describe your sincere and genuine love for people around you (blood and non blood related), the less privilege, little children, ministers of God and work of God. Your zero tolerance for hypocrisy, falsehood and dishonest earned you much respect in the society, neighborhood and among your associates.
No doubt we are already missing you, those good virtues and everything about you. With an assurance that is precious in the eyes of the Lord, we commend you (your soul) into the hand of your creator, who is able to keep you until His glorious appearance.
Grandma as we fondly called you, good night till that glorious morning when we shall meet to part no more..

Mummy your death came to me as a shock, I saw you 2 weeks before your departure, you were looking healthy, you held my hands and prayed for me from the heart that I will forever cherish.
From the moment your daughter introduced me to you as a minister in charge of her church you took me as a son and got personally interested in my wellbeing You always call me “omo mi”(my child) I later got a better understanding when I came for daddy’s 80th birthday and the ministers refer to you as mama Alufa. I can never forget your prayers every time I call to say hello and the regular supply of food items.
You are a proverbs 31 woman, your house was a home for everyone, you are selfless, generous, compassionate and above all a mother anyone will choose to have. You believe so much in the efficacy of prayer and I thank God that we were able to celebrate you while alive at your 80th birthday last year and also for keeping you till this age though you always say the terminal age is 120yrs but God knows best.
I know you are resting in the bosom of the Lord, till that glorious morning when we shall meet to part no more. Goodbye iya rere, mama oninure, mama Alaanu, mama Alufa

You took care of everybody around you, that reminds me when my children(your grandchildren) were looking for admission, you accomodated us, made sure you get every update on their admission status, you were there every step of the way.
My mother-mama Mebinuola would always talk about you that with the education you had, you never rubbed it on her, you were a great sister.
Mummy was a devout Christian, who had strong believed in God's word that nobody can kill her when is not yet time and it was so,indeed you lived a triumphant and fulfilled life in all ramification.

Late Mrs Olukemi Regina Akomolafe will surely miss by all,but l will miss her most.she is a sister(though step),but over years, she became much more than a sister, she was a friend,a confidant,an adviser and a supporter.lndeed, her generosity disposition to me beyond description, she and her husband were simply exceptional.
In spite a wide space between her and myself in terms of her educational exposure, she never dispited me and always communicate with me as best as she could. Her home was an haven to me at all times, the door was never shut against me.
She lived a glorious life in Christ, even in the face of the challenges, she stood her ground in God,her faith never wavered.
I will forever be grateful that our paths crossed and even in death,am not ashamed to call you my dear sister.
Till will meet and path no more.Sunre oo!!!!!!!
