I've struggled with posting this because it all still seems so unreal. This is not right: young men are not supposed to pass... no one's supposed to pass in their prime.
You're gone and all we have left are memories. But thankfully, they are happy memories. Memories of fun, of life, of childhood, of hopes, of dreams, of ambitions, of a future of possibilities... memories of friendship, of brotherhood, of love.
O death, where is thy sting?
Our hearts are heavy and the questions are rife. But in all, we choose to give thanks, knowing that the value of our lives is not measured by the length of our days but by the impact we have on the lives of others.
Thank you Muyiwa for being such a good friend and brother. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for the times. Thank you for caring and showing it in your own special way.
My prayers at this time are with your family. May God grant them great succor to bear this painful loss. May He fill their hearts with His warmth and cuddle them in His embrace. May He soothe their pain and dry their tears. And may He help them to remember more of the joy of having been blessed with you and less of the pain of losing you so early.
You will be sorely missed my good friend and brother.
